It is always free to participants. After completing a consecutive series of six (two-hour) classes, participants earn a refurbished bicycle and brand-new helmet, light set and lock.Students who commit to this series will meet at Willmore Park for six Tuesday evenings, beginning each week at 6 p.m. (with each class ending at 8 p.m.). The first class meeting is Tuesday, June 3, and graduation day (the final class, which includes a graduation ride on the students’ newly earned bikes!) will be Tuesday, July 8. Students must consistently attend the classes to earn their bike.This particular series of classes will take place at Willmore Park Pavilion #4 (near the playground), located in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood, at 7200 Hampton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109. Big thanks to the St. Louis Hills Special Business District and its safety subcommittee for their enthusiastic financial support that is helping make this possible!Requirements for this course:1) To participate in this class, students must already be able to ride a bicycle comfortably on their own — without assistance or training wheels. (We regularly offer a separate course for students ages 8 to 17 who do not yet know how to ride a bike, called Learn-To-Ride.
